2017-2018 Team Registration - OPEN June 25 2016

Registration for all 2017-2018 teams is now open organization wide.  This includes house and travel teams for 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U teams.  All player selections have been made for the Travel and Squirt Red teams.  Unless you have been contacted by the Head Coach for these respective teams after completing tryouts please register for the appropriate house/Snowbelt team.

Please remember that you must be registered with USA Hockey for the 2017-2018 (Click Here) season prior to registering for CSYHA.

To register for a CSYHA team Click Here or click the Green Button to the right of this message.

Please note some of the following changes for registration:

1. If registering multiple players please add them in order of the most expensive registration down to ensure proper discount application.

2. You may elect to pay all fees in full at registration or elect to pay 50% at registration and the remaining 50% will be automatically deducted on 1 October to the payment method used at registration.  If your payment card (credit or debit) expires prior to 1 October remember to update your payment data prior to this date or use an alternate card to avoid issues on 1 October.

3. Each player will need to purchase a set of jerseys and socks this season and the fee will be paid when you register.  Please note you will need to submit size information as well as a list of 5 potential jersey numbers in orders of preference.  The jersey POC will work to ensure no duplication of numbers and orders will be placed in the smmer and another order in the fall.  Register soon if you want to make the 1 August order deadline.

Jerseys – players will be able to re-use jerseys from year-to-year.  It will be at the parents’/guardian’s discretion as to when jerseys need to be replaced.  Players will pick five numbers in order of preference at the time of registration.  We will make every effort to assign each player one of the five.

Deposits – Deposits are charged on a per family basis ( a family of two or more will only be charged $175 total for deposits, not $175 per child).  Each family will be given $25 worth of a fundraising item (to be determined – raffle tickets, candy, etc) and then keeps the $25 (if the family chooses to sell the item).

The Colgate Concession is refunded once a family works two events at the Colgate concession stand (typically Men’s Hockey).  We are looking into other events, such as Men’s basketball, that the association can work to provide more opportunities for people to volunteer.

MULTIPLE PLAYERS PER FAMILY

For families that have more than one player in the organization: the player on the team with the highest registration fee pays the full amount and all other siblings pay 85% of the respective fee for their level.

USAGE OF FEES

Registration fees include practices and games (ice time and referees). Practice and game slots will be allocated by age group (Squirts through Midget Snowbelt are typically allocated 16 home games while the Split Season Midget travel teams are allocated 13.  Mites and Learn to Play are not allocated specific game times).  Away games are at the discretion of the individual team (coach and parents); Center State Youth Hockey Association makes no guarantees with the respect to the amount of games (home and away) to be played.  Ice time is a costly and precious commodity and buying ice time at Morrisville State College consumes most of the CSYHA budget each year. Additional expenses include the cost of referees, insurance, advertising, printing costs, etc. To help offset these costs, CSYHA will be promoting various fundraising efforts throughout the year. Participation in these fundraising efforts is mandatory as money raised through these efforts helps keep the registration fees down.
